24 life-changing books.

If someone asked you what book has changed your perspective on life, would you be able to answer?

When I was about to graduate from high school, I read The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho. To this day, I believe it’s the one book that made me value the process of life very early on. Back then, I’d already realized that it’s in our human nature to always set new goals and continuously work toward something. We will never stop seeking, never reach the final goal. So the final goal must be the process. It’s the only thing that makes sense. In a way.

When looking back at my life, the things I’m most proud of are the emails I receive from people who have read my books, the comments on social media, and the Amazon reviews my books have received over the years. This is also why I’ve decided to use this space to recommend books that have shaped me the most and to give the same sort of feedback to the authors that impacted my life in big and small ways.

I’ve divided my recommendations into four categories and wrote a short description of each of them. I’ll be sharing lists of books on:

  • People science and communication

  • Consumerism and behavioral change

  • Advertising and persuasive strategies

  • Self-awareness and self-knowledge

I hope these book recommendations will inspire you and inform you about different practices. Because I’m also sharing my top self-help books, I hope they help some of you, too. Otherwise, it’s just me getting naked on the internet.

I hope some of you will take the time to respond and recommend the books that have been life-changing for you, too. You know what to expect from me over the next four weeks.
